Are these option available from MBUSA?
Was looking at MBUSA and the photos of the E-Class, they have a 500 that has the AMG bodykit, wheels and dual visible exhausts with polished tips. However, I was unable to find the options on the build your own page, anyone know how much this option or if it even exists?

IT IS COMING!
The AMG Sport Package is now listed as on option in the 2004 E-Class brochure. I think it may say "delayed availability" or something. No price listed.

yea, except only dual exhaust, no quad. also, no side skirt change... wonder why.
Personally, I think the side skirts make a big diff, as well as quad. I'll probably go for a full AMG kit, and aftermarket quad exhaust.

hey guys,
i also spoke to my dealer about this option package.
he informed that it is delayed and we should start seeing
it in the beginning of next year. i personally like the dual
exhaust over the quad....looks a little less busy to me. i did
have the price of the package given to me ....now i just have
to figure out where i put it
it was pretty expensive.

Something i would like to know is what wheels will come with the AMG kit. The 2004 SL500 sport now comes with standard MB "sport" styled rims which look ugly IMO. I would guess the AMG package including AMG rims for the W211 would be $5K.

Hi guys,
The AMG sport package is not avaliable now. Even when you place your order now, you can't order it.
The avaliability should be summer of 04. The option price is around $5000.

hey guys,
all that you can currently order is the staggered AMG wheels. my dealer is getting an E500 with this option in about a month.
i also asked my dealer about the availability of the dual exhausts and the AMG front end treatment and they have no idea when it will be available.
it seems to me that every 2-3 years into a production cycle MB freshens up their cars. i wonder if the dual exhausts and AMG front end with the side body panels is what we will see for the 05 E class. the reason i say this is because my 00 E430 sport had many of the same styling cues that came later on the 01 and the 02. not so much the front end but the lower body work on the sides.
just think....the "new E" is already in it's second year. changes and updates will be coming. it seems strange....probably because the current car is so attractive.....what could they possibly do to make it look better.

I have never receive any email from MBUSA regarding the new AMG sport package... How can any dealership recieve a AMG package E500???
The option is not even avaliable for ordering.....

in the current brochure an option package is listed that provides
AMG staggered wheels, side skirts, dual exhausts, and the E55 front end. when i approached my dealer about ordering this they told me it was on a delayed availability. now a month or so later when you go on MBUSA's website the package is not even offered, but what is offered is the staggered AMG wheels. what really is crummy is that the website has photos of an Eclass that nobody in the USA can actually order. the E looks great with these options. very sporty without the dramatic price and HP increase of the full blown AMG E55.

I work for MB... But so far the AMG package has not yet release..
Just have to wait..... But you can order the E55 front and rear bumpers. It is easy to install, but very expensive at this moment. The front and rear part alone will cost you$1500.
