W211 CDI low high end power + blk smoke
2359-1: check charge system, too low boost pressure.
2011-1: Check component B2/5 (hot film mass airflow sensor) Sensitivity drift air mass ratio for calculated quantity (top)
Via my icarsoft MBII; changed MAF unit with the built in Bosch MAP sensor. No difference. Only goes into LIMP when the RPMs pass 3000 and that is when the loss of power is noticeable along with black smoke.
The icarsoft is good for reading values its just I have no idea if something is working as it should be or not, if anyone has a list for the car's "normal" values so I can see the range my w211 should meet, I'd appreciate it.
As of right now my guesses would be an air leak somewhere, or the sensor thats in my CAT/DPF? Thought I'd get an opinion before i wasted money on parts I dont need.

If your vehicle is a 2005 with a om648 I6 engine, I don't think it should have DPF. SCR/DPF emission devices didn't start showing up until 2007 with the facelift w211s & introduction of om642 V6 engines.

I have an '05 CDI and it runs great. Years ago, I had a turbo Porsche and one day it ran poorly. It turned out to be a very torn rubber intake hose. In the days of carburetors, it wouldn't have run at all; however, with all the electronics tuning the injection it just ran poorly.
FWIW, Look carefully at your intake plumbing for visibly damaged parts.

Yeah its def a leak imo, I also have a Merc Sprinter with the inline 5 thats at 300k miles and inly issue with that baby has been cracked rubber hoses. I have the idle values for the oxygen sensor (1.9v on avg) , and MAF (20g/s on avg). I have an s350 bluetec and i know the engines and all that are different but can I compare the ratios of that with the e320 cdi?

As our new president would say... WRONG! OM642s in the W211 ONLY had a DPF (diesel particular filter.. cleaned through heat.. aka REGEN). CDIs from 2005-2006 ONLY had Cats. OM642s in W212s had DPF + DEF (Urea).

The W211 Facelift from 2007-2009 is an OM642 with a DPF only and an older head and turbo setup, resulting in lower power output.
Please take your vehicle to someone who understands it before you destroy it.

Well then you and your new president must be both idiots because i know for a FACT it has a dpf filter IN the CAT because I have removed it and brought it to a professional diesel filter cleaning shop. Its a beehive like wooden material inside. Dont comment unless you can help.
