I was wondering if anyone here has the lorinser exhaust on a E500 and what you think of it. if you do can you please post some pictures of it.. thanks....So far i have only seen the remus, amg, brabus exhaust.. no mentioning of renntech or lorinser or carlsson?? thanks...

REMUS makes CARLSON, LORINSER, and BRABUS exhausts,

they just remark and selling them for 3 times as much,,
get the remus, they sounds great

Brabus exhaust sounds great on the 350. Its also nice to know that Brabus exhausts are made by Eisenmann, which is probably why it sounds as good as it does. Check around there are a few members looking to sell theirs You can also, of course buy my stock AMG quad exhausts if you want to retain the stock appearance. The older model AMG exhausts were made by a company called Sebring but are now also handled by Eisenmann. PM me or check the classifieds under engine/performance for pictures of my exhaust for sale. actually you are mistaken,, SEBRING is also owned by REMUS.. as well
BRABUS exhausts have been made by remus as well

Eisenmann exhausts is a great company,, and make good exhausts,
the problem is,, they had to file lawsuits not to long ago because
their design was copied and produced by chinese, and I know people
in the exhaust business that have said that 80% of the eisenmann exhausts in the US sold under $2500 are copies and not the real thing..
so if you can get the real one its great but almost impossible to tell

Remus as far as I know the largest OEM and aftermarket muffler manufacturer in the world..

I think you misread. What I said was that Eisenmann now handles exhaust production for AMG. Not that Eisenmann owns Sebring.

well , the funny thing is as of last year,Sebring was making AMG mufflers and several memebers have posted here their AMG mufflers were sebrings, so Remus owns sebring, so I still stand by what I say..

its possible Eisenmann makes a few AMG mufflers as well, but the ones I have seen and heard about, and asked the dealers about, all say AMG;s are really SEBRINGS

no matter EIsenmann and REMUS are 2 best exhausts out there so you cannot go wrong,, either way,, but all I was saying is EISENMANN is ALOT louder, than the REMUS/ SEBRING models.. and some poeple dont want that kinda howl in a sedan..

the Eisenmann is at least 75% louder than the AMG exhausts
and double a stock MERCEDES.. which makes they fairly loud..
so if someone wants something louder than the stock mercedes exhaust,
and about 15% louder than AMG exhaust the remus is a better choice..

if they want ALOT louder, say over 50% louder than AMG , then the EISENMANN may be a good choice..
