Question Where my brakes modified?

Bought a 1owner 08 e350 4 matic and since I've had it noticed car isn't like others on the road. Car is loaded, panoramic roof, 18 s, leather pretty much every option except air ride with I'm glad I don't have. My issue is I ordered brakes and rotors for it and they came in wrong item. Car has dual piston calipers and rotors are bigger and wider than what was sent. They seem to match up with the ml350. I know may sound dum but it's my first e class and my c's I never had issues with. Any info would be great and yes I tried to search and see if there was an existing thread but no luck.thank you

Post pics. People will just be making random guesses without being able to see what you have. Measurements would help as well.

Looks like sport package - Are you sure you ordered sport rotors?

2008 E350 4Matic, 2011 E350 4matic
Check the part numbers of what you go. I have the same car and also did the brakes not too long ago. The fronts had two clips just like your old one, not like the new ones. Akebono's catalog lists a few different versions, but there's the sport version which has 2 clips which is what I have and then there's another one for the 4matic which just says with standard brakes which probably just means the default luxury model and that has just a single clip like what you have.

WDBUF87X68B335666 That's the vin but company sent the wrong brakes. Installed new set with rotors and its all good except took the car for a ride and got the transfer case shutter at low speeds turning and binding in reverse pulling out of parking spaces. Like a 4wd being engaged on dry pavement. Changed fluid drove it with no success. I really dont need or care for the awd these cars do great in snow without 4matic anyone know if they sell block plates for the transfer case like the gtr?
