Sbc Rebuild W211 is it really works
Hello guys I have an W211 2003 my mechanic rebuild my sbc wasn’t working before he changed brushes now sbc back working but still getting service brake and stop vehicle red sign I asked him why he said need to be rest he told me he is getting C249f service threshold reached now i’m Really warry about that not sure if my brakes going to work for how long is there any way I can check sbc health by pressure or something I have diagnostic tool that can check actual value for sbc please guys answer my question this is really for safety sometimes my wife driving the car with kids thank you

Others may feel differently, but when/if my SBC system needs REPLACING you can bet I'll do more than stick a fresh set of brushes against the motor. Especially if I thought someone else might be driving it. There's quite a lot more to the system than a hydraulic pump.
That said, yes. The system needs to be reset via STAR. Plenty of reading on the subject in this forum.

Thank you for answering my question we changed 2 rear speed sensor and brake system will be flashed brake pads will be inspecte if they need to be changed thank you i’m just concern about Sbc pump

Replace the entire SBC unit with a rebuild. Your wife and children's lives depend upon the proper operation of the brake system.
Look for the information listed below using STAR. These numbers are from my W211's last service; the numbers indicate I'm still good but need to monitor more often rather than waiting for the red stop sign of death to appear on the instrument cluster. I would bet your remaining pump life is zero. And there is a good chance that the pretensioning reservoir pressure is below nominal.
-Brake system actual values:
-Bremsenzaehler (brake system solenoid actuations IIRC) – 301,454
-Pump cycles – 11,224,600
-Estimated remaining pump life in % - 23.2% (DJ_GetPmpLD)
Get to the above values by this route:
-Control units/Chassis/SBC sensotronic brake control/Development data/Actuations/Complete index of Actuations
The pretensioning value will be found under actual values under SBC folder.
-Pretensioning pressure in reservoir – 73 Bar (72-102 optimal)

Guys just called Mercedes dealer today they said we will replace the sbc pump if it’s bad for free but I have to pay diagnostic fee even though I will pay just to make sure the pump ok or need to be replace now i have appointment with Dealer will give you updates

Bull****. Your car is far out of warranty and no dealers are going to goodwill something like that.
