Where can I find some good pics of Capri Blue.
First, it the color travels depending on the light.
Second, it is a medium dark blue to blue-purple, not to everyone's taste.
And third, building on the second item, it will not have the same resale as black, silver or one of the greys. If you are leasing, this is not an issue. If you are buying used, also not an issue since you are probably getting a better price on purchase. However on a new purchase...
Notice the color changes dramatically between overcast and sunset.
Sorry about that model blocking the car.

My wife is not a fan of grey/silver. We considered both blues: Capri and Midnight. And the maroon, I forget the name. I had seen a Capri blue on the highway and there it looked like a nice medium blue. In a shaded spot of the dealer's lot it was darker and more purple.
In the end, the white is really MB's only 'bright' color on the US E-class. Even the silvers, platinum blue, etc are rather dark. The next brightest is probably desert silver.
Resale was also an issue. For a variety of reason, my wife would like to buy this car (my calculations show the finances neutral). And talking the the used car departments it becomes clear that Capri blue is not an easy car to sell. They actually just order black and silver for inventory.
It was a 90 degree day and the white was A LOT cooler. There was a quite of bit of pollen in the air and only the white looked clean (silver was second).
White was a compromise (not as much resale as black or silver, however my wife liked it better).
So white it is.
