Sunroof - how to remove?
I have a 06 E320 in perfect shape and the sunroof started sticking. I was able to close it and move it a bit to stop the air noise...drove it for 6 months or so. Took a trip to Fla and forgot about the issue and attempt to open the sunroof which it opened in vent mode only. Played with it a bit and cleaned it out and it now will slide too if you push the glass down in the back. Anyway, the glass seems to have separated from the base on the short sides (both sides). Sunroof is howling now and it quieter with the roof in vent mode. Where would I find instructions on how to remove and see what is failing? All the seals look good but I would like to replace all the seals when I pull the sunroof. When washing the car, the headliner is getting a little damp so need to do something quick. Before my trip to Fla (and not using the sunroof) there was no leakage at all.
I read a few posts on 12 hours for removal so sounds like a chore to get out and back in....
Thanks for any guidance...searched you tube with no success.
