Removed radio now climate controls doesn’t work

Removed radio now climate controls doesn’t work
I removed the command unit from my 2006 w211 w he audio. I also removed the cd changer in the front. I have a fiber loop so that is still working and I have music. I left the cigarette lighter unplugged and I left the power for the command in plugged.Is the radio connected to the climate control in he copper wires? Any thoughts how to enable the climate control system again. Climate control lights up and the settings change but no air flow.

What I am trying to figure out is do I need everything connected in order for the climate control to work? Or did I blow a fuse? At this stage I don't know where to check.

I just replaced my radio as well and drew down the battery voltage. The fan won't blow on full until battery is at certain voltage. Have you ran your engine a while?? Just a thought...

I've removed my Command headunit and replaced with an Android unit. I've completely removed the fiberoptic loop and all stereo/GPS/amp components in the trunk. Had no climate control issues after all of that so it's definitely not related to the fibroptic loop in any way.

I just meant that you may have drawn down your battery voltage. When my voltage goes to low, the AC fan only blows at a slow speed. Also "convenience" features do not turn on until voltage reaches a certain threshold..

Yeah, I ran RCA/antenna/GPS/amp turn-on/etc and installed the amp in the trunk. Nice and easy to run power to it too since the battery is back there. There is enough empty space in the back left behind the trunk carpet to mount the amp and not have to see it. Just realized I never took pictures or I'd show you. If you want any info on what I did let me know and I'll grab a few pics and share anything I can. I've been thrilled with it though.

These links should be helpful. I ran them under the dash, then dropped them behind the speaker in the left footwell, that speaker and panel pops out if you just kind of pull out slightly and towards the rear of the car. From there you can get into the wiring channels along the side of the car as detailed below. Popping off the trim pieces was very easy, and I didn't break any plastic. Didn't feel as brittle and cheap as the cheaper cars I've done this kind of thing on in the past. I had a pretty think bundle of cables and it wound up being a little challenging around the B-pillar, but it wasn't too bad.

I also ran a pair of speaker wires. I am using a 4+1 amp to drive the four main door speakers and the sub; the speaker wires run from the headunit amp to drive the rear deck "surround" speakers. Just mentioning this just in case it makes sense for you, only run wire once if you can help it! I've been glad I did this, they actually add quite a bit spatially. If you aren't already aware, you should also be running wires for the factory antenna and GPS, they both connect in the trunk. This thread was helpful getting me started, but if you have any questions let me know, happy to help out.

Its fixed!!!! SOLUTION
SOLUTION!:
I figured I would check the fuse as everything else was working, BUT my fuse sheet was missing from the car. SOOOOOO...... I had to pull every fuse in the driver's side fuse panel. Not one was blown.
This morning when I got into the car and turned on the defrost as a matter of habit, it came on! So it seems removing the fuse (which ever one it was) reset something (probably a relay) and all is good!
(next stop remove the AGW and wire up the system appropriately...)
