Alarm keeps going off

My 2009 e350 sedan alarm keeps setting off by itself. Today was the first time I drove the vehicle in 5 days. Parked the car and 4 separate times the alarm is going off.

What could be wrong here? Help needed. Security in my office building keeps Calling me!!

I'm also getting "hood open" warning when driving. Alarms even going off with car unlocked.

Courtesy lights also won't turn on doors or overhead. Could this be more than a siren

Then you also need to check the hood switch, (130 in diagram) part # 2038219251.

Still going off. Could the hood switch be broken? Prompting the alarm to go off?

The alarm has an internal battery that fails with age and leaks on to the circuit board. Remove or replace the alarm. It's useless so I just removed it. It's located behind the front left fender liner.

Alarm stopped overnight. Now my hood latch open warning is on. This can't be all related to the alarm can it?

It can be related. The alarm module had a lot more functionality built in beyond just making noise.
