Cylinders 4, 5, 6 misfiring & p0021 incorrect position left camshaft. Clear codes if they persist simple first step, check both left side cam magnets. If replacement is decided I suggest replacing all to both sides, 4 in total part # 2720510177.

New P0018 = intake adjustment left cylinder camshaft, same remedy as previously suggested.

I am totally confused I thought the sensors are on the driver side or am I gonna do the passenger side. I saw online people saying it was the driver side not passenger. And also is it ok to get buy after market one and do I need to change all 4 or just 2 per side.
is there 1 or 2 on each end of the heads and 2 on the front and 2 on the back

I cant draw an arrow but someone here might be able to point them out. They are at the front end of the cams.
you can get a kit with all 4 solenoids from rock auto for cheap or buy mercedes ones from fcp euro

Have you read attachments previously posted. Fault codes pertain to cylinders 4,5,6 on left side of engine. You can start by replacing 2 left magnets (solenoids). I suggested proactively replacing all 4 if a problem is visually found with either left magnet.

So I went to Mercedes and bought the OEM magnets and think that should do the trick the guy at the counter said very common and change one side first then the other if needed. So not the CAM sensor the CAM solenoid magnet

I sent you a pm and my local indie shop charges like $165 to hook up scan tool what a joke
do you think I should change the oil and both camshaft sensors on the drivers side

If it were me - I would swap the cam sensors from one side to the other and see if the codes change sides.
the cam sensors are one part# ($25/each) and fit both sides.
do that first so you can know if it’s the sensor before waiting to have another part ship. The usual culprit is most likely the simplest - misfires on one side tell you it’s probably timing related so KISS principle tells us it’s likely the cam position sensor. Buy new o-rings for the good sensor your removed as part of the order if that’s the issue to avoid leaks
Changing the oil is irrelevant. Fix the issue first then change the oil after unless you’ve neglected the car and are overdue, but that won’t have any impact on the misfire

Well coming home late last night and hopefully this helps someone

I swapped right to left the cam sensors not magnets and swapped the 2 center plugs and coils and pulled the harness on the ecu on top and blew it with air. After doing this it was a little rough start but it started and i throttled it up A few times and bam it ran like a top.
