The short answer is UNLIKELY POSSIBLE.
The steering column is a mechanical shaft combined with electronic control modules. There may be 20% chance you can mix and match parts and code things.
Some people decide to REPLACE STEERING WHEEL for updated looks...

yes thats what i want to do lol...replace the steering wheel but from what i've been told i would need to replace the steering column, i've found one from a w212 and one from a w176 that have the same sticks and was wondering if it would work, but you din't say if yes or no so lol, what about this one ?
FYI: this is only a piece from the "steering column"
