Rain water pouring into car.
Hello.
I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a drain hole/hose/plug somewhere under the small battery under the airfilter?
it always fills with water there when raining, and from there it comes into the car.
Could not find any information on it via google.

waterworks...
these are known to seal shut the roof drains by the time rubber tips turn into glue. Smoly cut one corner or replace new.
Windshield can also come unglued in places given enough sunshine exposure.
Use a garden hose or a large cup of water for testing.

testing for water sources
Don't get too frustrated with something as simple as a drain.... this is a Mercedes, it has to start leaking.
There's not a lot of water channeled under the battery support.
Try to test where water is coming from and going where...
+++ the drain picture looks like roof drain outlet to me - It's capped so noise doesn't travel into quiet cabin✌️

I think my CLS also has the hardpipes. When I replaced the alarm siren, I extended the hardpipes so the water can go to the underbody paneling as fast as possible without splashing around so much in the wheel well. I did the same on the passenger side
