Keep getting 6210 and 6230 codes followed by stiff Airmatic
So I had been having this issue with my airmatic getting really stiff without any other obvious symptoms. Narrowed it down to these 2 codes under ESP, 6210 (ABS System Control) and 6230 (ESP Program Control). A few weeks ago I got the red brake light warning and the brake pedal got really stiff, changed the brake pedal sensor because it was cheap enough to just pop in, cleared the codes and it never happened again, but now I’m dealing with the ESP codes putting my suspension into a super stiff mode. When I clear the codes it rides normally for a bit before gradually going stiff again within 1-2 short trips. I had my SBC unit was changed by Mercedes in late 2019/ early 2020 and have put maybe 20k miles on since then. From what I can see, everything else on the car works normally including the suspension adjustments. My rear air bags were replaced in May and I have no suspension faults or leaks. Any thoughts?

I would recommend you find an internet service Co to refurb your own unit.
An old used ESP will need programming and may be worse than yours is now.

You can use the Mercedes factory tools to run ESP tests and trace schematics to double check every network and power signals are to your liking.

Will do, thank you. Also worth mentioning I just got a new set of OEM rear wheels but the previous guy mounted 275/40/18 Nittos on there. I know it’s off spec so any chance they could be messing with the speed sensors and causing the codes? My front wheels are stock with stock tire sizes. I have a new set of correct sized Bridgestone’s for the back but I figured I’d ride out what’s left of the Nittos, I’ll have them swapped though if they could be an issue.

A.custom shop may be able to alter your car programming to work with these oversized wheels...
or simply stay within specs to keep computers wirking.
