Does anyone know of any cool hacks for the new E class?
Hi there,
I need help and hopes that you guys/ladies will help!
I have a E350 Coupe from 2009.
I've asked to my MB dealer to update the firmware of my Comand NTG to the latest.
The target was to have te possibility to play the music from my iPhone5 via bluetooth.
The problem is that I cannot activate the BT Audio even in the hidden menu... Even if updated!!!
Please help me!
Thanks to you all

I have a 2011 E350 and after following the instructions posted earlier in the thread I was able to connect and stream via Blutooth audio from my iPhone 6. Both phone and Blutooth audio streaming work but I have to reconnect my phone every time I get in the car.
My problem is still there due to an old software I guess...
And maybe due to a MB dealer who thinks that all the Mercedes around the world are from his father's factory... Even if the car warranty has passed out!

I had the exact same problem you're having, soI took my 2010 E350 to the dealership and paid for the software update (out of warranty). I told the service manager that I hacked the system and that I wanted the bluetooth audio to work, so it needed the software update. They did the update and it fixed the issue! The only thing is now I cannot enter an address into the nav system if I'm driving, but that's not a big deal to me.
Change MB Bluetooth Name
I have three W204 cars in my family & all of the Bluetooth networks have the name MB Bluetooth. I would like to change the names from MB Bluetooth to something unique to each car. I'm hoping that this can be done within the COMAND menus via Engineering Mode. Can anyone confirm this is possible & how to do it?

Ok, I figured out how to get into the hidden Engineering Menu. You have to press these three keys, "hangup + # + 1: for about 10 seconds. Once you get in there, u have a ton of settings and logs and options to play with, but I couldn't find anything too useful. I tried enabling a bunch of different things, but nothing seemed to make much of a difference. The coolest thing was probably the Bluetooth Audio for wireless streaming, but unfortunately I can't get it to connect to my iPhone nor my laptop. It seems buggy. If any of you can figure out how to fix it, please let us know.

Idk guys maybe the 2016 has a new setup. @Konigstiger is probably the only person with a definitive answer. Maybe you could PM him?
