airmatic question
I haven't noticed this before. Is it normal for this system? I didn't see anything about it in the manual other than a potential warning indicator that can indicate that you shouldn't drive until the car reaches normal ride height (I didn't get this warning)
My guess is its nothing to worry about but wondering if others have a view.

I would just keep an eye on it to see if this continues to happen or if the air pump is running more often than normal. This could indicate a leak that you might want Merc to take a look at.

I will see if it happens again.

We all know that over time and mileage the system can develop leaks (which will be noted on the Start diagnostic) esp if hit with super bad potholes. But that bulletin looks to be a brand new Jan 2010 bulletin(?)

Ultimately this car gets a fair amount of abuse given combo of my driving style and that I drive it in and out of Manhattan on my commute....hopefully it will be up to the task. (my previous car - a 6 series....was not)
