***My Brand New 2011 W212 and Star Grille***
This week I got my brand new 2011 E350. And I bought the star grille on ebay and got it installed today. Big thanks to lyjw88 for his DIY: Removing W212 Front Grill thread.
Here's a few pictures...

SWEET!!! Nice Job. Looks "sportier". How much on e-Bay?

When the sun comes up I will take a pic of my iridium P1 sport with the star grill. It has silver strakes with black obverse and black mesh. Looks very aggressive. Different look entirely.
Installation was darn easy. Just make sure that you remove that top plastic piece first. Takes less than five minutes total.

Thank-you for the pictures guys!
My wife and kid are still pressuring me to get rid of the upright star, and that will not happen with a flat a badge on the hood and a redundant original small badge on the grill.
I'm considering changing the grill. I have to figure out what grill color looks good on steel grey. (black/chrome or silver/chrome)

I think black/chrome will look good on steel grey. It will give it a sportier look.

Supposedly 0.8" in the front and 0.5" in the rear. Less than the H&R drop but not anywhere near as harsh a ride. Should eliminate most of that fender gap and give it a little nose-down attitude. Not a slammed look; but if someone is looking for that then this probably isn't the right thread.

Another question for you...
There appears to be different types of aftermarket grilles out there. There are some with and other without MESH grille behind the horizontal slats.
Which one did you get?
Can you post pics closer up?
Cheers!

He's not a Canadian vendor. I noticed he said the item is from BC Vancouver but the package came from Taiwan. (btw i bought it from this ebay vendor as well) The shipping method they used was DHL. I ended up paying 12 bucks more at my door.

I'll take some close up pics tonight. I got the black/chrome with the black mesh grille. I got the mercedes flat badge from the dealer for free as it was part of the deal.
