Taking my son a college tour tomorrow, give the E550 an airing out. San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Irvine and of course San Diego. The car is cleaned up and ready to go, laser and radar set, heading out in the am!!

I went to UCSD about 20 years ago and wouldn't worry too much sending one of my girls there...

You know what they say, you can party anywhere, btw his sister went to school in SD and I commuted back and forth from the Bay Area for 4 years (don't think there is anywhere nicer than SD), I think Irvine south would be his choice but we'll see.

Golfster I have all the those old rock tunes ready to go (on the harddrive or IPod), have you been out to NorCal lately?

Better get to sleep have to be on the road at 530 am.

You'll be amazed at how incredibly "at home" this car feels on the highway. It's truly a masterpiece of long distance cruising. It's the cars art.

With the 550 and Distronic (I assume you meant it with the laser thing), I can only imagine it improves on what I'm gushing about.
