No liking the convex spokes. I think the w212 looks look with lip and/or concave monoblocks. Beautifual white, though.

Hot looking E. Concaves are not the only game in town. When that fad is long gone, nice lips will always be in style.

I used to kind of like them, but everytime I see them on a car they're filthy; a nightmare to keep 'em clean I gather........that would disrupt my ocd tendencies, lol.....

There's a lot more haters on the MB forum then I remember... Seriously if you don't like it and have nothing good to say why not just don't post?

I understand what you are saying, but what good would it be if everyone just posted on how super-duper everything was. People are allowed criticism, its healthy. You just gotta know how to filter through the garbage. Sure there are haters but I "think" most people are just being honest and offering their opinions. We all have a different perception of what's nice and what isn't.

Sorry for the thread jack

"Haters" is such a dumb word. It implies jealousy, and it usually applies about 10% of the time that it's used. Someone saying that they don't like something doesn't always mean that they're a "hater", rather than expressing their honest opinion and taste in something.

What, my McDonalds paint job on my E doesn't look good you say? You're a hater! You wish you had this!

I think what kinda kills it is the black look of the wheels.

I completely agree. Just cause someone doesn't like something is not close to inferring hate, jealousy, envy or any negative emotion.

To the guy who says, "just don't reply" let me explain why I do. Sometimes people need to hear the other side. There could be something they or others just didn't see. Sometimes I just don't understand fanboy replies. When you post on a public forum, you're free game. As long as it's respectful.
Certainly doesn't bother me when people don't like my car.

If it's really horrible, those are times I may not say anything.

Back in the day when you didn't like someone's wheels or their body kit or whatever (and believe me there was plenty of ugly **** out there) it was a "meh not my style" or "I dunno man I would not run that".

I mean some guys have ugly g/fs but do you post "dude your girl is fugly" even though it's the truth? I'm just surprised by the lack of etiquette these days - I still stand by my opinion if you don't have something nice to say then you probably shouldn't say it.

I understand what you're saying and agree. I think there's a big difference between rationale and "tasteful" criticism, not intended to hurt ones feelings, and rude, trolling, and disrespectful criticism. I think being that it's on a Car Forum, ultra-critiquing is welcome, but there's indeed a fine line between a respectful and disrespectful way of doing it. And yes, on Forums there are those who are just "haters", but most of the time it's usually just expression of opinion I think.

Were the pictures taken in Oakland? I think I saw that car, or one like it, in person when going through on my way to SFO.
