I know the side windows are a slight green tint (to block some UV) from the factory, and I'm not sure about the windshield, hopefully a little bit, but yeah, the S/CL have that strong purple hue which shows that it has the windshield UV protection.

The wood wheels look great and all, but I never found them functional in the least. I'm driving a Lexus with one right now, and while it looks elegant, your hands are always on cold (or hot) hard plastic, it's just a less luxurious "feel", not to mention, it gets hand grease on it, and can be slippery/not as grabby.
But it's GREAT that M-B made it an Option again for the E-Class, so we have the choice.

Agreed, personally i really enjoy wood steering wheels and am surprised how little it feels greasy, however I really think MB does a good job on the Es especially giving us all options. To outsiders people probably just see Es as Es but to us I think we realize they really offer engines across the spectrum from BTC/350/550/AMG and the sport vs. luxury not to mention all the individual options available which really appeal to a diverse group of drivers all based on one great core vehicle.

I bought the same exact BEAST, same P2 package, sport with lane tracking around the 17th of February. I love the rims, black ash trim and black interior. I feel like I have the only one like it... until now. The only difference is that I went without tint. I think when I get back home I'll have 50% or 35% put on it. Congrats on your new giddy-up. It's a wonderful vehicle. And, I would know.

I have a seat cover that I use when he comes with me. He's 105lbs and his nails can definately do some damage to the seats if I don't use the cover. That's how we grown em' in Texas
