Don't know if it's an artifact of the camera angle and the sun reflection, but the MB star on the front of the 212 almost looks like a Cadillac emblem.?? I must be seeing things! Is it a standard star?

^^ I think there's something he tied onto the Star.
Car looks awesome! If you could have only swapped those E63 headlight units with the matte black insides to replace the chrome insides in your E550, I think the muting of the brightness in that area would have tied perfectly with the blacked out theme of the car.
Thanks for the side by side pics. Those are always my favorite, especially next to older M-B's.

LOL, the dealer wouldn't have noticed I'll bet......or maybe they would.....either way,
that's a sweet idea.....I'm sure an OEM set of E63 lights would be steep eh?
and nah, not selling, it's my daughters sun visor from eddie bauer LOL.......
I also like to write on them; my special way of advertising or an attempt to get a point across, haha.....yeah, I should tint them I know....I'm actually getting close to doing it again.....summer and all.....
Mickey is on the hood leading the way.......my daughter loves him...

If I ever need to refinish mine or repair them or something, I'm going satin as well. Though, I'm not totally into the black wheel look, and I do enjoy the OEM machine finish of these AMG wheels.... I just dig how they work on that car.

In my other thread - the reason why I was thinking coupe was because of the sporty look the coupe has over the sedan... but with that black powder coated rim - it looks sporty too.

I was really impressed with the coat. The guy sent them to a place to be stripped; chemically, then did the powder himself....
I've been trying to find other random things around my house to PC, LOL

I'm sure you can find it muuuuuuch cheaper from 3rd party vendors, on Ebay (OEM), etc.
I shoulda thought about reminding you to switch those b*tches! Your car isn't even a Lease, so you could have done whatever you wanted and it wouldn't even be "scamming them". You could have done a "chrome headlight mod", and a "non AMG seats mod" when you returned it to them.

haha hype I never noticed your tag before. Love the wheels. Where did you find the center caps? Oh by the way, there is this guy in the C300 forum that painted the inside of headlight lights. Can't remember his name but he's rolling on matte graphite CV2's.
