You know the W212 is a generally trouble free product when....
.... We have a select few, in between Wheels Threads galore, and maybe a redundant "grille swap" Thread here and there. In comparison, the BMW 5er guys have distinct discussions about many problems AND virtues of their cars, but no wheels Threads.
Kinda dull in that case, I guess you can say, in comparison to riveting stories about troubleshooting problem after problem or discussing nuances, but in real life, it's a good thing.

On a side note, can we get a direct "ONE STOP WHEEL SHOP" Thread on the W212 Forum? Sometimes I feel as if I'm on a Tirerack Forum instead of an E-Class Forum.
Personally, do not go to forums to socialize. Instead, am here to get info partaining to my interest and share my knowledge if need be. I do not really see a point discussing car's attributes after it was bought as I perform DD to great length before I buy.
MBs are quite reliable now. Their main problems in the last 10 years were mostly (2002-2006 cars) with transmissions due to faulty radiators (supplier was changed - problem fixed) and SBC brakes (which were also "fixed" by discontinuing fitting them starting with 2007 MY). I had two BMWs in the mid/late 1990s. They were great cars for their first two years, after...well lets not go there. I'm a loyal customer of MB brand. Except for Audi, would never even look at anything else.
Interesting observation, it is.

My unscientific observation: Today the main page of MBWord E-Class had 4 threads on tire/wheels, Bimmerfest F-10 had 4, and Audiworld A6 had 3.
