20" Rodericks on my E550 4Matic (offsets)

I know there are 925 staggered 4Matic threads in the W212 section.

This is 926.

I am planning on putting Roderick RW-2 20x8.5 ET45 and 20x10 ET50 wheels on my 2012 E550 4Matic with 245/30/20 & 285/25/20 tires (either Vredesteins or Goodyears).

Does anyone have a similar set-up on a 4Matic? The only thing i'm really concerned about is the offsets. My car is lowered via SDS, so nothing crazy. I know the wheel & tire sizes are ok to use.

I also have the option of going to a different wheel...

Front: 20x8.5 ET35 with 245/30/20

Rear: 20x9.5 ET35 with 285/25/20

Is this a better fitment? I do not want the wheels to stick out past the fenders and i don't want to rub.

1. IMHO, this is a better front fitment than the one from your original post.

2. However, this rear fitment will not work: a.) anyting wider that 265 on et35 will stick out; and b.) there is no 285/25-20 tire approved to be fitted on 9.5" wheel (minimum 10").

Your best option (from choices you provided) is 20x8.5 et35 front and 20x10 et50 rear.

Addition: if you can not mix offsets as above, then use the set from you original post (you can always add 5mm or 10mm front spacers should you choose so at a later time).

Unfortunately, the 2 set-ups are different wheel styles, so i cant mix & match.

So, if i took the 20x8.5 ET45 and 20x10 ET50 and use a 10mm spacer on the front, that would work?

Is there an online offset calculator somewhere or is this all in your head?

lol, we're playing post tag....writing responses at the same time.

Thanks for your help!

will the 45 & 50 offsets work as is without rubbing and not look stupid or would you add spacers off the hop?

Yes 10mm (H&R part number 2055665 if your front hub is identical to rear, since your car is 4matic I think they are, otherwise use 20556659).

Well both my head and this: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

One still must understand or visualize the results.

Personally, I would add 10mm front spacers for et35 (do not forget 10-12mm longer bolts than what comes with the wheels).

Just to clarify, you would get the ET45 fronts and use the H&R 10mm spacer to get the offset to ET35, so they sit more flush, right?

Thanks for all your help. I appreciate it.
