Anyone have the rear seat entertainment system option for kids, worth the $1250? Quality product? Or should I get aftermarket I'm wondering. Thanks.

I have it for mine and it's great. I paid like 1800 though. Comes with 2 remotes and 2 wireless headsets and central dvd player, can play 2 different movies at once. iPad's are nice, but for long trips better get the 64gig cause I have a 32 and I was only able to fit 8 movies on it. By the time you convert all the movies you want to take with you and then load them into the iPad, it becomes a flipping nightmare. Be nice if there was an easier way. Oh there is, take all your DVD's and go. I also have a portable blu ray player I can take as well. Game systems will plug right in as well.

Thanks BM2BZ and RNBRAD, I think I'll go with the benz system, not the iPad holder. Haven't checked out latest after market in a while, will stop there too in case Alpine has something stunning to compare with.

I know right? Me and my sister had a basket loaded with those little travel edition games from toy stores to pass the time. Now it's all iPads iPhones and laptops.

my Mother would actually make car bingo games, where we'd have to identify objects or places on a board she would always draw with different
things to look for
now someone will probably have an app for that
