Just Ordered 2014 E350 sport

Was debating between that and the 550. Had a v8 twin turbo before.

Essentially all the options minus rear entertainment.

Colors:White ext. inside is Gray/Black/Dark ash wood

Anyone know the build time on it? I placed the order in last week and they said july, but seems like it will go quick.

Pretty excited and really like the look, they stole me away from BMW (not a fan of BMW). First time having a sedan though so will see how I make the transition.

just curious, why the change from BM?
Mine was a July build too but they were able to catch one just going in for June so I took it.

had a 2011 x5 and nothing but problems, the car is rusting/engine problems/feels very cheap. Drives great though.

I like the interior/look of the Mercedes (it does not drive as sporty/feel as crisp, but way more luxurious which was what I was seeking this time).

Has anyone seen them on the road? I am in New England and nothing yet which is odd.

IMO could be completely wrong but my twin turbo v-8 on the BMW feels too powerful.

Example, I am at a stop light and tap the peddle it 'launches each time, and there is a delay' so it looks like I am bolting off the line and it jerks me back.

The v-6 felt smooth/calmer which is what fits my driving style now. Only gripe are the brakes feel weak on the v-6.

Would have enjoyed Airmatic :/

I got it to hit 80 pretty quick, not a race car but seemed ok.

i switched due to the need to get rid of manual trans (so might as well go luxury), MPG needs, and safety features.
Benz are known for safety which was a plus, also I had the SUV and normally its just me riding around so the Sedan makes sense...and x2 on saving on fuel.

0-60mph takes about 6 seconds (some reviews say 5.8 to 5.9) which is pretty quick.

My E350 was pretty sluggish in E mode initially, but after a quick PCM reset, it is now very peppy.

My 2014 E350 is building this week and should arrive Late July, early August - well worth the wait.

Super choice for safety, my 2010 E350 saved me from an accident and the 2014 safety technology is more improved and integrated. Drove an early dealer demo and I'm looking forward to mine with all the delayed features.

Everyone who I know who had one praised its safety.

that's pretty quick, mine is 5.0 now, but I rarely use that usually its the 40-80 time which matters the most to me.

Yeah I think I did too, really looked over the model/features and seems to be a great fit.

I was tempted to get black looks very nice, I am guessing mine is going to be quick/early in July assuming they fire this out (made it seem like I caught one right at the last minute before it went into production).

The ambient lighting looks amazing, can't wait to really explore it for a bit.

Sweet! Based on what you're stating it seems you like the luxury more so why not go for the luxury model? At first I chose the E350 luxury but personally I do like the exhausts and the dealer provided me a fully loaded one minus pano to be delivered early Aug. Congrats and glad to see another 2014 E on the road! I haven't seen any driving but that makes it all the better for me.

Yea I do like the luxury, one draw back is the ride on the sport? Not sure how different the sport/luxury..I heard noticeable to barely at all.

Now the wait is the hardest part lol. I saw one in Boston parked last weekend and that was it.

I will get some pics when it comes in, I am thinking since I ordered the first week of june it might be here early-mid july. It seemed like they caught mine at the last minute? I only had less than a few hours to make a decision if I wanted that build or wait till august.
