GREAT CPO deal going on now....
Great deal going on now from MB Credit:
- free maint. for two years (two services)
- 1.74% APR for up to 66 months (with direct withdrawal)
- first TWO payments made by MB.
With those terms, I can say that they stopped me from buying a competitive brand.

I put an offer in @ $36,000 - delivered.
Dealer wanted $37,000.
Walked away.
Phoned me 90 min. later -- we compromised at $36,500 - out the door.
$33,400 + $695 dealer fee + $2,405 tax/tags = $36,500
Salesman said it was a low gross deal for them, and I believe it.
Car still smells new.
Cost me about 3k over wholesale, before all the promos that MB threw in..

Could not get comparable warranty aftermarket anywhere.

I think I've got a good deal because of the 1.75% plus 2 payment free and 2 years maintenance....Yes, I added another 2 year extended warranty on top of the 2 years remaining warranty. Around $36,000 out the door with tax and everything. 66 months and $8000 down...around $450 a month only.
The important thing is...I've got the wife the super white E350 with 18" AMG rim plus the Panorama roof...only thing that I wish I can get is I don't get the dark grey interior...mine is grey with beige color leather. But close enough...

My fully loaded 2012 E550 coupe was delivered to my home for $39k +TTL. After the $1200 from MB I've got right at $43k total in it. With warranty until Nov of 17, 2 maintenance visits free and the great financing I can't imagine a much better time to buy.
Now if only the weather would cooperate so I can get it out and drive it.......

Found a great 550, similar to the OP's. Really hard to push back. Anyone know how long this CPO deal will be going on??
I feel very surprised to see current pricing on 2012 and 2013 W212s, especially BT cars. I came across this 2013 E350BT with essentially delivery mileage with as asking of $42k in Valencia, CA. If this car was in the color I wanted, I'd be on a plane to go get it. What I can't figure out is why other cars with 5k-10k miles are going for $8-$10k more in other parts of the country. From my looks on MBUSA and Autotrader, it would appear that California cars (maybe west coast cars in general) are priced lower. Considering the low pricing of some cars and the new CPO deal - is there really that much of a glut of these cars on the market? I mean, $42k for an essentially brand new '13? Wow.....

If you're buying a cpo, call a dealer out there and tell him what you want and what you're willing to pay, might be worth it to fly out! costs $1k to ship to the east coast, saves wear and tear, takes about 1wk.
just for yucks try the pricing tools at edmunds or kbb and use a west coast and east coast zip for comparison...see if the price fluctuates that much.
I'd say it would cost closer to $1,500 for shipping to Chicago via enclosed trailer, but even with that one would be way ahead of the game. I had my Miata shipped up to Chicago from Ft. Lauderdale - there's nothing like the feeling of seeing that big semi-tractor trailer pulling slowly down the street to your house - knowing the present that's about to come out....!
Appreciate you mentioning that. Popped by my local MB dealer, and the Service rep didn't even look at my wood - and ordered me a new set (on backorder, or course). No questions asked.

And I won't have to pay for my first 2 services or my first 2 car payments, which are at 1.74% interest for 66 months with no pre-payment penalties!!!

Definitely good deals out there with the CPO and the unlimited miles. I do about 20k a high mileage example would be a good deal for me, but probably not enough to make sense to trade in my current E. High mileage 2012-2013 S350 would be tempting however...
