The other option is to have one disassembled, shipped as parts and then reassembled in the US. I doubt you could keep your warranty after that.
So if you got a few million to spare, I think you can get it done.

Each new applications needs to be crash tested and run through the battery of EPA tests.
You cannot special order engines or transmissions. Nor can you special order seats or similar items that have any (even remotely) relationship to any safety item.
You can import cars that are on the "eligible" list (no post 2012 car is) that are then modified to meet the applicable FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) and EPA requirements. This must be done through a registered importer. If the car is on the eligible list then you should figure at a minimum $20k plus the costs of any required conversions.
