Damn pothole ate my wheel this morning.
Blew out the front tire. I had to drive at least a mile on it in order to get to a safe place to change to the spare.
The dashboard lit up red and said 0 PSI in my right front wheel.
Oh really you don't say.
Got the spare on with no issues and made it to work. The air pressure in the spare was pretty low actually. I would recommend giving a check on your spares to make sure air pressure is good. I ended up having to make a stop off to get some air. So glad I found a station that gives free air. LOL
Sucks cause I just got the tires about a month ago.
After the hit I don't feel so good about the rim. I am trying to find another, the dealer price is $1100, seems kind of ridiculous. I am having issues find a good used one though. Need 1 A212 401 2302.
None on ebay right now. I found a similar looking wheel on ebay but it had a different part number, the offset was also different so no go on that one.
car-part doesn't yield much right now either, one from a yard in CA is not in good shape despite the $500 price and the A listing.

Because of the potholes and road debris, I always buy additional road hazard coverage when I purchase tires.

Same thing happened to me the other day. It's the second tire I lost this season, so I'm going with 17" wheels. The roads aren't going to get any better out here.

Have you looked into wheel repair? There places like wheel specialists that will take them in.

Well, I did and if you also want to just an FYI American Racing has the Maverics that I purchased. About $600 for the full set and they look very decent too.
