First Mercedes, broke it second day please help
So I changed my plugs and ended up breaking a plastic valve in half when trying to put the engine cover back onto the MAF. The problem is the bottom half of this piece is stuck in the valve cover and I cannot get it out. (First picture) Does anyone know what this piece is so I can get another one and replace it? The second picture is a nipple I found that was not connected to anything, I am assuming this nipple should be like this? Im currently trying to track down diagrams with these items, but I am not having much luck.
Thanks for the help, car is a 2011 E350.

So I think this piece is a check valve coming off the brake booster to the intake manifold, and to what ever piece this plugs into. It is bolted to the back of the right valve cover. I broke the plastic nipple that this check valve connects to. The check valve is fine, but I have to replace the nipple. The problem is it is broke so low I cannot get it out for the life of me. I cant find a part number on it and think it might just come with the component bolted to the engine block.
I found a part number on the piece with the nipple, but it is the only part number I cant look up using any site, PN: 1231078.

I was considering breaking or drilling it out, but was worried the pieces would fall into the hole causing damage to the engine. I want to take it off, it looks like there are only two bolts holding it on, but there is practically zero clearance room. I am going to continue to research and buy a service manual in the mean time.
EDIT: I will snap a pic of the component I am talking about for better clarity.

Glue it until you get a replacement. Test the glue by wiping a bit on the side and see if it breaks down the plastic. If you wipe it and it just peels off in a sheet after it dries then try a different glue untill you find one that works.

I havent started the car since, it might be but I just bought it and dont want to throw a CEL right before my inspection this week. It looks like an easy install, I will see if my local dealer carries it. It is a vacuum pump that ties into the brake system. That nipple is built in.
Edit: Actually if I have to bleed the brakes after the dealer may as well do it.

I see why you couldn't easily remove the piece stuck in the casting now. Looks like if you push in on one of the plastic tabs held captive within the casting (square opening in casting with plastic visible) with a screwdriver and leverage it up and out and the rest will follow.

The whole assembly? Yes. Just the plastic nipple? No. Sounds like it's a part that is meant to be one time permanent install. I bet there's plastic extending down into the casting that prevents it from rocking while you try to remove it. There's sealing involved as well so it needs to be a tight fit.
