E550 Suspension

Hello All,

I have been doing some research and could not come up with any suspension options for a 2014 E550 sedan 4 matic. Has anyone lowered one of these without the airmatic system paired with endlinks. Any options would or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Nope, no airmatic. Springs and shocks.

Their website only says with airmatic suspension

I had the H & R Supersports on my C-350 coupe and absolutely LOVED the ride and how low it made the vehicle.

Ride is as you'd expect... more feedback from the road, but since it's just lowering springs, it's still a bit boaty. I like them though.

Thanks guys, i really appreciated the feedback. These springs that you both have for your 550 should work the same despite mine being a 2014, correct? Also, nicobaires any photos of your car with the suspension?

I bought the springs for my '11 E350 (in the picture) and now have them on my '13 E550... I think it should be the same for the facelift, but you can check the part number for a pre-FL E350 vs your '14... Between 350/550 the part number I think is different, but they're literally the same thing (for the pre-FL cars, at least).

Have you guys had any issues with the rubber suspension bushings wearing out quickly? I lowered my C230k and I went through bushing every 10k miles.

I would think so as well. I am going to call the manufacture up and see what they say.
