If you're within the mileage limit (I would assume so on a 14, but we know what assuming does) I would think this would be covered. Only way to know for sure is to have your dealer take a look and assess. Good luck.

Same button has broken on mine, and cant find it either. What was your solution, did the dealer fix it for you?

My best friend got his covered under warranty, but the trick is to finagle the gripe. You have to present it not as a trim piece, which is not covered under warranty, but as a functionality issue. Meaning: without that button you cannot adjust your seat properly. Good luck.

Pretty much the gripe was "seat cannot be adjusted due to inoperable control, use of head-protection system incorporated into headrest will not be optimal" (basically, the task is to get them to see it as a deficiency in workmanship to not be able to adjust the headrest, and as a potential safety issue in the event of a rear collision). Do not argue it simply as "trim that fell off"...ignoring the latter, they replaced it under the former conditions. IIRC, they had to remove the door trim and replace the entire underlying unit (seat adjustment, memory, etc), as the headrest switch is not sold separately. They know that, and it's costly, that's probably why they are avoiding it. Good luck!
