Big Buy Today! 2014 E350 MB vs 2014 GS 350 (Needing expert help)

I'm making a huge purchase today and I'm having a hard time deciding on which vehicle to take. The analogy I use is Iphone vs Android. The GS has all the bells and whistles but the MB is sleek and has all the style..

In the LONG run, which would be the better buy? The E350 has 45k miles and priced at $27k and the GS350 has 30k mikes and prices at $31k.The both ride smooth and nice to look at lol but I need more help. The salesman is more of a Lexus guy so he's pretty bias but please offer your options. FYI, I will be getting a 5/6 yr warranty on either one when purchased.

Expert help...I think you're in the wrong place then lol.

Anyway they are both very very similiar in many ways. I believe I read that you've driven both. It appears from what you've said that you're leaning towards the Lexus. So go for it since both are great cars.

FYI I really can't stand the fugly grille of the Lexus but the facelift MB's oversized plastic looking stars aren't much better looking IMO. The lights on both look great though. Good luck.

2014 E550-sold 😩
The poopy diaper look of the Lexus front end ruins the brand for me. Buy a Lamborghini instead.

Okay, I'll give one more try.
1. Where are you from? Does it snow there? then choose 4Matic, i.e Merc; Lexus will be fine too, since it is FWD, unlike Merc 2WD, which is RWD. Not good, if it snows too much.
2. In your iPhone analogy, which one is iPhone? Merc.? My vote: Merc
3. I feel the white and black combi looks sexy; Merc wins in my opinion for style.
4. Maintenance, cost to own will be similar: Draw.
5. Head turner: Merc.
6. Safety: Merc.
7. How old are you? 20-30; 30-40; 40+; As long as you're a child at heart, just take Merc.

Well, not because I own a Merc, but, I like merc and this is a merc forum. Just like the sales guy trying to sell his vehicle. We want another merc owner in our group.

Oh wait, "Expert Help" scratch my answer; I'm no expert, I'm just a Mercedes enthusiast since age 9 and a dreamer to own one since age 18 and got it for my 27 year birthday..!

I know this is an MB forum but imho, I would go for the E-class. Like everyone said E class is an E class. I mean if you're worried about the reliability, just make sure to get an extended warranty for a peace of mind. Also you gotta remember.... you're purchasing a 2014 model here and for sure MB updated and fixed all the bugs already.

I think you're about a day or two too late. She already purchased the Lexus. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ml#post7179132
She took us for a wild ride, then dumped us on the highway! lol
