2012 Mercedes Benz E350 4Matic engine noises when I turn off the car
The car makes this noise and I noticed it just today. I also turned it off one time and didn't hear it but then turned the car off couple times and this noise keeps happening when the car is off and it goes away after 5-25 seconds. Is this normal? If not what is wrong with it?
I never heard this before and it just started today from what I can recall. Car turns on and drives fine and nothing seems wrong accept this noise when the car shuts off.
Could this be caused electrically? I did have rodent poop and pee in car and I wonder if this could be damaged by the rodents? Or is this normal?

I can't say the sound is normal since I don't notice it. But perhaps someone else had heard that before.
You don't have the led headlights by chance? Those have fans to cool the lights after turning off. Not sure if they sound like that though.

I have the standard lights in the car. I noticed it happens and it doesn't have the boing sound but still does make the noise when I turn off the car. Car runs fine and no service lights but this noise happens when the car shuts off.
i noticed to another sound when I don't drive the car overnight and open the trunk and this thump/thud sound happens then the trunk releasing pressing/holding the trunk release button the key and today when I locked the car the passenger side when locking with my car key I heard a loud "pop"
I wonder if this is all linked to the same issue?
The trunk unlock sound and door lock sounds don't happen all the time but random times too. Is this electrical?

I agree with Key08 that you should get it checked out. I don't think you're in danger or anything. With no warning lights and no battery drain, I would just until the next service. Keep track of the sounds and take photos or video of the locations if you notice the exact spot.
Also, hopefully your pest problem is gone but be sure to stay on top of that. Don't want to be cruising along and have something skitter across the dash.
