Fault code A24E60 E63 AMG
Hello,
I got this fault code on my pre-owned 2010 E63 AMG W212.
A24E60
Fault: Control unit 'Trunk lid/tailgate control' has a malfunction. The component is not configured.
My trunk won't close with the button inside the trunk or inside the car. All lights are working, and the buttons are illuminated.
There is no resistance when i open or close trunk with my hand.
What do you guys think is the problem?
/Dennis

I had this happen a couple of weeks ago - exact same code. Perhaps your battery was disconnected for a certain amount of time? Mine was, which apparently caused the problem:

The trunk just needs to be reset for "Initial Startup" by the dealer diagnostic computer and will be fine. Otherwise you can simply use it manually since locking/unlocking isn't affected.

(this MY) Trunk stops operating after battery disconnect
You have tried resetting the module but error appears not to clear.
It looks like "The trunk just needs to be reset for "Initial Startup" by the dealer diagnostic computer and will be fine" was the answer.
