Hi. i own a 2014 E350 4MATIC and it takes a lot of pulling to get the parking brake to disingage, when looking at other forums it happens in cold temperatures, but my happens in hot and cold temperatures? is this just something that needs to be adjusted or what?

I took my 2016 to the dealer. They replaced the brake release assembly.
Also had the similar issue. Known failure of E-350. Dealer replaced assembly ,no charge.

You can check adjustment @ rear wheels but most common problem assembly need replacement as mentioned. Part # is correct not sure why dealer replaced screws it is not required. See attachments for replacement.

Not surprised- NOT releasing again. Have to pull pedal up with toe

From what I'm reading, this is a fairly common problem. I just bought my W212 last week and it was getting stuck out of the gate. Took the car in and after full inspection, they determined the mechanism was binding and they replaced the entire assembly under warranty
