Which Main Battery to get?

When I bought my first "ECO" car it come with wet battery, so when 2nd car needed new one as well, I bought wet Bosch for about $120. so 2 years on 1 and less than a year on 2nd wet battery with regenerative charging.
AGM batteries would be better if you plan to drive the car upside down, but that basically is the only advantage for much more money.
Than I hear AGM batteries usually fail within 3 years, when I have 96 months warranty on Bosch.
For aux battery I went to FCP as for few bucks more than competition - they offer lifetime warranty on MB batteries. I only hope FCP will be still in business when the small battery fails.

When I did not see clear document wchich battery operate the ECO restarts, fact is that when main battery, or airmatic compressor will not hold the parameters, the feature will not engage.
Too many unknowns to speculate.

one thing is the battery drain tube. where does it go? the tube is really short. got a battery from ExoParts and was around $350 CAD, genuine mercedes battery. and ECO Mode works! problem solved. Did not need to attach any battery tender, retained all memory i believe. will update later. but everything was easy!

I drive in 100+F, so doesn't take long for engine warm-up.
The ECO will work 1 and 2 minutes after start, but will quite for minutes 10-30, to stop the engine again after about 1/2 hr.
That is on car with DPF delete, so I wonder if ECU keeps on trying to get regeneration going.
I think I will start driving with scanner plug-in and monitor what exactly is going on.
