2016 E400 M276 Downpipes help

Hello, I had a question of whether the m276 biturbo downpipes from Weistec fit perfectly across all models with the same engine. I was looking at the Weistec m276 downpipes but it doesn’t say they fit the e400 2016, yet they fit all other m276 biturbo models. Any help would be much appreciated

I'm willing to bet they do. Most people don't even know a W212 E400 existed, so finding stuff for them is hard. I'm using a JB4 designed for a C400/450/43 and it's all the same in terms of connectors, which I know is an apples to oranges comparison, but I can't imagine hardware differences either. Email weistec and if you install them let me know how they do. I've been thinking about them myself.

Unfortunately the Weistec m276 downpipes don’t fit the E400. Weistec said the e400 and cls400 use different downpipes and the only company that makes them is FI Exhaust for a whopping 1100$. Most parts I got for this car have been a guess for example the Kleeman tune for the C400/c450/c43. Might just get my downpipes custom fabricated from a shop near me for a fraction of the cost and gonna go full flash stage 2 soon.

Very nice BenzWay. Any recommendations on exhaust mods for this engine? I have a W212 E400 and rarely find videos of them being modded. Id love a more exotic or throaty sound. Like an M3/M4. ive only heard one with down pipes and a mid muffler delete but boy those 3.0s do sound mean.

From what I’ve seen the car has 2 muffers, resonator, and secondary cat (another resonator). Your best bet would be to get a x pipe or h pipe and start with deleting the resonator and if not satisfied with the sound I would assume a secondary cat delete as well. I don’t recommend deleting the mufflers as you’ll lose out on low end torque. Hope that helps!

Oh alright. Good exhaust setup stock imo I just want more flavor to it and sound i guess. I do agree that a resonator delete would sound great for rasps etc but would it cause drone? Id rather have a worse sounding exhaust than one with drone.

No i havent deleted anything yet. But my friends 3.0 m3 sounds amazing with a mid muffler delete (he did also get downpipes) but that only really changed the boost sounds from up front. And i know the M3 in an I-6 not a V6 but it still makes me think E400’s have plenty of potential. If anyone has some modded Exhaust clips of e400’s id love to hear it.

I’ve been searching all over for Downpipes and so forth and the only company who makes them for the coupe is F1 for 1200. If anyone has any links or recommendations for mods I currently have the BMS dual intakes for the C400/C43/E43 and it does fit the 2015 E400 and I also plan on getting the Weistec W.3 Turbo upgrades and all I need is Downpipes as I am going to delete my resonators and keep my mufflers for a quiet but quick approach. If anyone knows where I can get carbon fiber hood or stuff to make the appearance more menacing please comment or link thanks

What advantage do the BMS intakes have over the stock ones? It looks like the engine is able to breathe plenty as is?

I plan on tuning and upgrading turbos so for me it felt like the best option but as of right now with just the intakes the car feels way more responsive and not to include you can now hear the turbos spool much loud and the vehicle it self just feels like there’s a better kick low end and top end overall to me
