Full ILS activated in my W212

- the guys said that there were lots of changes needed to activate ILS.Vladimir's module will be the easiest, quickest bet for anyone who wants this.
IF this had been easy to do, tons of us would have had this years ago. The W212 platform is 10 years old and we're just now here at a point where a few of the cars are getting this functionality. A search of the MBWorld forum at large shows a ton of posts asking questions about how to go about getting ILS in North America, but very few successes. It seems with this new module that will be changing for whoever decides to spend the $$$.

It’s worth noting that he can also defeat Eco default on. I like Eco, so I did not choose this option, but I know many forum members wish to defeat it.

I hope some of you can capture better video than me. It's worth noting that if you wish to add things later, you can still use this tuneOBD module and Vladimir can send you the files and you can load it yourself. It will save you shipping next time.
Note there is a 0.5 gallon margin hidden from the fuel level display. From full my car (21.1gal tank) shows 20.6 on the level display.

@DubVBenz - "Agility" mode for the 7G is essentially what Sport+ is on the newer cars. I find my car is plenty aggressive in regular sport mode and I drive 99% in just E mode, so I did not enable this feature.
@ccww - Surprisingly little information is out there on the W212 full LED system. I have been pointed to documentation about the 2014 CLS, but that is not correct. The W212 does not have multibeam LEDs. The car is mechanically masking the light, not using selective dimming of individual diodes. Perhaps that is why there is so little information available.

Now, here are Mercedes LED lighting headlamps, between all the vehicle classes, which adds to ILS functions and capabilities - A look at your headlamps should tell you what they are, the words are molded into the housing.
Dynamic Full LED (pretty much the same as xenon, different “bulb”)

To describe headlamps by years is much too difficult as there are overlaps between the model classes. Hopefully, this clears some things up.

Please note the W212 has the first link - Dynamic Full LED.
The W212 does not have any form of the multibeam or digital lighting.

Not something I was interested in.

This makes me wonder more about how the W212 supposedly masks out other vehicles on the beam pattern. Does it really do this effectively with the mechanical mechanism?
This article also mentions the stereo cameras detecting pedestrians and the headlights highlighting them. Is this correct?

What I can tell you from testing this is that the car does a great job masking other vehicles mechanically. It is very effective.
Here is an article on Benz lighting tech from the time period:
https://www.autoblog.com/2014/06/18/...ed-headlights/
This article states that facelift W212 models also adjust intensity of the tail lamps based on ambient lighting. I haven't noticed this, but I haven't looked to see if that was part of this activation. It may not be a thing in the US since our taillights are physically different.
