2010 E550 w212 Air intake duct hose
Hello, I have two big holes on both intake duct hoses from I’m guessing heat and being a old vehicle. I just want to find replacements, but everywhere I look for a “2010 Mercedes E550 air intake duct hose” results for a E350 pop up. Was wondering if they are the same even though it says they don’t or if anyone else ran into this problem and found a solution. I even called the dealership and they can’t do nothing but give me a part number and that is useless when everything keeps bringing up for the 350’s.

I bought the ones for the 350, took them apart and used the tube sections with the 550 end pieces. They work great no more disintegrating plastic bits.
I just bought some cheap ones off Amazon since I wasn’t sure it would work out. Since I’m just using he tube part, I would probably do the same next time. Hopefully though I don’t have to replace them.

I purchased this for my 2011 E550 4 matic, then I just replaced the filters with K&N, they fit perfectly. From autohausAZ.com

I would contact the seller, and verify they are new and exactly for your car.

For anyone who ends up finding this thread, I found a YouTube video that showed the installation of the aftermarket Spectre air intake hose. I just did mine and it was actually really easy.

Awesome. What a timely post. I noticed that my pass side hose was deteriorating and also found that the part is no longer available. This looks like a great and affordable solution AND it looks like my local O'Reilly has them in stock.
