CEL - Fault code U1454

CEL - Fault code U1454
I have a check engine light that came on few days ago and the OBD is displaying fault code U1454. The car is running fine and I don't feel any symptoms. Does anyone know what this is related to? I searched everywhere including this forum, but there isn't much info out there. Would like to see if this is something I can fix on my own rather than taking it to a mechanic.

Quick spin through the webernet shows that to be HVAC fault. I don't trust the specifics unless it's coming from a tech or one of the fellas on here.

Have someone clear codes, see if it returns before replacing parts. MB reads U145400 = implausible data received from fuel pressure sensor, registers internal pressure in the fuel tank for the leak test.

Based on your recommendation, I cleared the codes and the CEL hasn't come up so far after driving about 50 miles. I plan on going for a long drive today so let's see if it come back. Hope it doesn't come back and I get stuck with a big expense to fix it :-/

I cleared my code and CEL is off. Engine-codes.com is saying that my code was triggered by something in the shifter. Shifts great still and no CEL. I'm gtg as long as the CEL stays gone.

DTC U145400 "Implausible data were received from the ethanol sensor" is stored in the fault memory of the ME control unit. Without any other complaints related engine running characteristics. Cause: A software error in the ME control unit. Remedy: The ME Control Unit software should be updated to the latest available software via Xentry. **Note** Prior to attempting the software update, please ensure all availalble add-ons are install on the Xentry unit.
