Where is the A/C right footwell sensor?

Playing with my new iCarsoft V3.0 scanner, It shows, "Temperature sensor Right Footwell has a malfunction. There is a short circuit to positive or an open circuit." I can't clear this code.

Can someone tell me what the sensor looks like and where I will find it?

The wife says the A/C on her side works fine.

Same happened to me.. it's the tiny two wire sensor that's attached to the blower fan cover under the glove box.
Let me guess: your cabin filter was replaced at some point... that's when this sensor got messed.messe up.

How many devices are found by your new V3??
Do you get headlight modules and LIN Devices showing?

More importantly, have you found a way to change the blinker indicator to a 5 blink series from a 3?

Thanks. I want to change the CAF anyway, so I'll look for it when I'm in there. I assume it's attached to the inside of the blower fan cover.

Um, the high level scan identifies 40 categories. Some are obvious, but others I don't understand, yet. I don't know what a LIN Device is.

I just gave a cursory look at all the categories. Directional blinkers wasn't an obvious category. I will learn more as I get more familiar with the scanner.

The sensor is located on the under dash panel in the right footwell. you need a torx screwdriver (T25) to remove three screws. The electrical connection is a 2 wire push on connector. could be as simple as the connector came loose as it needs to be removed (and obviously, reinstalled) when the cabin air filter is replaced.

Move the passenger seat all the way back, fold back the carpet at the front edge on the foot well, undo the 3 torx screws, and wiggle off the lower cover. The sensor is on the left side as the cover comes off and is mounted on the cover itself

Most welcome- search YouTube for a video of replacing the W212 blower motor- the first part of that sort of video involves removing the lower cover- and that's your ticket. There are two electrical connections on the lower cover- one for the footwell bulb and the other is for the sensor

I found this video which shows both connectors clearly. Thanks again, Zavato...

This morning (when it was cooler) I was able to get into that footwell and drop the panel. Just as CaliBenzDriver and Zavato predicted, the left-hand sensor cable was dangling loose, saying "please reconnect me." Done. It took more time for me to find some concrete floor padding for my ultra sensitive knee replacements.

Thanks to Zavato, CaliBenzDriver and S-Prihadi for all the help.

I then retested the module using the new scanner and it came back "passed." I took some pictures of all the screens offered with the V3.0 and will post a new thread to describe them later.
