Somebody try to install original kick tailgate opener?
I already arder original ecu with sensors
The wire Lin B27 connect to the keyless go ecu. I don't have keyless to my car.
Anybody knows about the Lin B27 wire. Is this signal, of just a voltage output?
For sure i will make it works!
I am electronic engineering, technical for medical equipment ;-)
If this is signal and not voltage output i will connect keyless go ecu to the output, then i connect the can b to the car.
Hope this will works

Controller modules need to be coded to work together, they are NOT Plug'nPlay.

There are two major forums out there where people post hacked versions and explain how to install them. Unfortunately they cannot be named here, but if you dig hard enough you'll find a huge community. I suspect one of our favorite sponsors gets all of his information and software there as well.
My question is; Can you add this to a car without Keyless Go? I would love that, but I'm pre-facelift.
What make this work only for the owner and not for anyone else, is the keyfob located by the KeylessG many antennas.
Lately my car computers have been working with very little latency unlike ever before. For fun I decided to push my luck little... I tried the ninja-kick with my keyfob located in the trunk: it just won't close. I don't know how keyless locates the key but that works.great.
Trunk sensor works similarly to a handle sensor by leveraging KeylessGo handshake with the keyfob. Leave it to the German ingenuity to build new complex features with service in mind.

I emailed him and asked him about just that. He assured me his software was licensed. Don't know, don't care, because ridiculously high-priced software and licensing to fix my own car is a big ****ing scam and I'll steal whatever I have to to get around it.
I don't get answer for my question.....
anybody knows what is the output wire LIN B27?
Thanks
LIN is a single wire bi-directionsl serial bus interface... used for slow control signaling, it's essentially a poor brother of the twisted-pair CAN bus.

Are you trying to create "Trunk Open/Close" comand to drive a 12V relay... then how about reading the matching PID's through OBD2 ?
Good chance what you need is available.
If you bypass the keyfob validation done through KeylessG, anyone that walks by will be able to open your trunk !!!
Just like the main ignition is not an unsecured ON/OFF switch, the trunk kick must be secured.
+++++ a kludge solution:
Enable the kick module output only when car is UNLOCKED (so kick is then secured!)
Kick output emulate the trunk release button with a relay. (kick opens the trunk but can not close it without trunk motor.
The trunk lid button is disabled when car is locked therefore kick actuating the trunk button is secured because it is gated.

Exactly that, convert to 12 volts relay.
I have already install aftermarket keyless go, the car automatically unlock when i am in 2 meters for the car, when i leave the car, about 5 meters automatically lock.
so, no problem if i can convert it to relay output ;-)

Great! So you're no stranger to splicing your MB harness to make things better. I'm like that also to some extent, lol
Cracking LIN bus...
your kick module status will have to be captured through the LIN bus.
You'll need to interface it and make it work without handshaking with its KeylessGo parent module.
I would start there to validate this can be done. Until you can read LIN there is no kick_status that can be acted upon with a relay logic.
Live and learn

I find a cheap keyless control unit, i think is better to buy one.
The LIN connect-to the keyless control unit, and then the keyless control unit (connect) to the car by CAN B.
I don’t know what programming i have to do, but i think in this way i have a chances :-)
what you think?
Hopefully your tailgate won't go flying open when you drive over manhole covers down the street.
Since you already have a simplified but working keyless solution in place, I would not mess it up for a chance to interface with CAN instead of LIN...
Whatever is easiest not to add more complications: the "KISS" principle.
No way to trigger when drive, because tailgate ecu read the speed from the car via can bus, or read that the car is in lock mode. If i can find a voltage change in the kick ucu, i will drive this voltage to the handle switch via relay. ;-)
