W212 Jerky when turning
I have read all of the other posts on this subject and I guess I may be missing something. 2011 E350 4Matic. This car has been a really good vehicle but about 4 months ago started have a jerky feeling when turning and has become progressively worse. The tires have have been replaced and are all the same circumference size. I have had the transfer case fluid changed 3 times now. Also had the front and rear differential fluid changed. Transmission has also been serviced. All shaft joints have been inspected. Service shops have no solutions for me. Any suggestions?

I assume “when turning” means while moving, how about standing lock to lock.

Proactively have you checked steering fluid condition/level? It seems you ruled out most if not all leaving steering - pump, rack, etc.

How many miles? Its likely one of the items checked/serviced... transfer case, differential, CV. Primary suspect would be transfer case, there's some history on them failing. Judgement would also be based on if any of those fluids look "off", i.e. contamination.

Had the right front axle replaced after an accident. No problems immediately after the replacement but sounds like that could be the culprit. Thank you for the input.

OEM axle or aftermarket? Indeed that could be your problem.

This thread suggests a transfer case problem. I had mine rebuilt twice.
