I having this issue during the winter the heat would turn on sometimes now it’s summer and nothing blowing out? I’m thinking it’s the blower, anyone have any other ideas?
MB stop using freon about 30 years ago, but some old-timers still call refrigerant that.
You need scanner for troubleshooting.
Good scanner will have self-guiding page , for it, but if you have cheaper 1, that can pull live data, read all temp sensors in the morning, before engine start and then check refrigerant pressure on hot afternoon with AC on.
On a hot day you turn on AC and manually crank up fan speed... but no air comes out, fan stays Off.
Have you scanned AAC, checked the fuse and probed for voltage at the regulator In/Out.

Have you noticed if your blower was noisy and the old cabin filter was all plugged up - - if so chances are your blower regulator got toasty !
Once diagnosed... you can try a 1¢ FIX on the bad driver circuit board... just test and BYPASS the inline thermal-fuse to get back on the road + remove cabin filter to ensure AIRFLOW at all cost.
