Seat cracking MB-Tex

2011 E350 4M Sedan. Today I found a crack developing on my driver seat bottom cushion. I would like to replace it, just the bottom cushion cover. Hope to buy online and local car upholstery place will install. I have not checked with the dealer for cost, but assume it’s very high. Where online can I buy OEM MB-Tex for this model? I don’t know the color name (beige-ish) but I can supply them with the VIN. Is there a way to find a part number, searching by part number might help. Thanks.

Provide VIN I'll pull MB part # to shop used/new as you surmise new may be cost prohibitive but with correct color code local upholster should be able to provide cost effective repair/replacement.

Will sell in the next couple years. This is my fourth E350 and will get a fifth. I’ve always bought new but taking care of my mother has forced me, financially, to wait on the 5th E. The MB-Tex is fine for the year or two before I trade it in. Next one will be leather.

I want to replace the driver seat bottom cover only, MB-Tex. It’s beige but don’t know the actual color name. 2011 E350 4M sedan. If you can find a part number, I can google it for a discount OEM supplier. Unless, you know a reputable OEM for this part? Thank you for your assistance.

I entered the part number and it came up cloth in several websites. Such as this for amazon:

Material

Cloth

Brand

Mercedes Benz

Position

Front

Do you have another website I can order from, recent reviews of FCP are not great. Thank you again. I want to get this purchase right and not have to return anything. Also, seems to be a large range in price from one website to another. I definitely want to stay OEM.

First I've heard of FCP as anything other than excellent, but I've not bought anything from them in a couple years.

parts descriptions on Amazon are all over the place accuracy wise.

You can order genuine Mercedes parts from any dealer. some dealers run websites with wholesale priced parts.

Thank you, that is the great information I expected to find here on MBWorld. Do you know of a MB dealer that has an internet presence for their parts department? If a dealer is the only place to get OEM, I’ll buy from dealer. Do you have any other recommendations for OEM parts? Amazon sells for considerably less, should I go with them? If I go with Amazon, I’ll have to resolve the “cloth” issue first. Thanks again.

yes, the description is confusing there, I dunno why they say cloth, as its not, its Artico fake-leather. the part number rules. also dunno the hsipping cost there.
here's another, https://www.mboemparts.com/oem-parts...21291073468p26

May I have some assistance for the front passengers seat on an 2011 S212- VIN# WDDHH8HB2BA207881.
Color Gray MB Text

I believe the passenger seat has the heating elements integrated into the cover.

Thank you for the assistance.

seat heating is a separate layer under the skin.
your LEFT seat cover is A21291077467H23 but your right seat is NLA.
You *can* get a complete passenger(right) side seat CUSHION with the heater and skin and foam and everything, thats PN A21291010067H23

OH, those are the PN's for the 'cushion' which is the /bottom/ of the seat. there's different numbers for the seat backs (you didn't specify which you are looking for)... Right seat BACK skin/cover is A21291014477H23

I call the dealer attached to the link you gave me. I ask for parts. I explain the part shows cloth but I think the part is MB-Tex, can you check for me. He looks at the product catalog and he says “the product catalog shows artico leather, so it’s leather.” I said I believe artico means artificial. He said, “it says leather so it’s some kind of leather.” This is from the guy in the parts department???
