P0183 code I cannot find the sensor location
Hello my 2010 e220 turbo diesel had a the check engine light pop up and when I used a scan tool it has 2 codes.
P0183 fuel temperature sensor A high
P2463 particulate filter restriction - spot accumulation bank 1
I’ve read that the car won’t do a dpf burn off if the car has an engine light on so I’m assuming that’s the cause of the p2463 code.
I’ve looked all over google to find the fuel temp sensor location but there’s nothing that even resembles the brass coloured bolt..
I found a few images of the exact same engine on google if someone could help point me in the right direction.
Thank you

Provide VIN for confirmation, not familiar with engine check high pressure pump.

See if the attached is your engine OM651.xx.
If so, yes ...that fuel injection pump is at the rear of the engine. This engine timing chain is also at the rear...yikessss.

The fuel temp sensor code is still appearing but engine light isn’t coming up. The exhaust temp goes from 350 to 650 so the dpf regen is working now!
Hoping that I can just leave the fuel temp sensor code alone since it does seem to be in an impossible location to reach..

The fuel temperature sensor is in one hell of a position for the 651 engine… terrible to change but we managed to do it and the code is gone!
Thank you

jack up the car and take off the under plates and front left wheel. Then when you get underneath look at the left side of the car where the transmission and engine meet it’s up in there.
the one random video I found that helped
