tranny codes p0730 and p0732
I have about 70k miles on my 2014 E350 and I was getting some clunky shifts so I took it in to have fluid and filter changed. Now I am getting some real bucking/lurching in 2nd gear - but only once per week or so. I ran my code reader and got P0730 and 0732 "There is an impermissible transmission ratio" and "Gear 2 is implausible or the transmission is slipping"
Any advice on how to proceed?

short straw 🙄
Fresh ATF caused additional shifting issues.
Tranny issues are never good to ignore.
Try to reset the faults from built-in TCU to have a chance it will perform better.
Background information...:
-- Any additional faults on this car?
-- Your trusted MB dealer did this service or questionable ATF may be in use??

To answer your questions, I bought trans kit from FCP Euro and brought it to local indy (non-euro) and let him change it.

acting sick
> Resets:
The super fancy Siemens transmission computer has many levels of resets with learnings shift adaptations.
The faults you got are genuine true concern... they are not false faults because your driving experience confirms the goofy shifts.
Try resetting TCU with your simple scanner for peace of mind. Dont expect a miracle in this case.
Double check your coolant tank to see you have no traces of ATF MAYO MIXED in there (radiator ATF heat exchanger failure).
> Decision fork:
-- It's up to you to decide to get a guaranteed proper ATF service done before considering more expensive options.
-- or get a quick conductor plate worked on by a certified shop with MB tools.
-- or clutch packs require tranny drop for complete overall work.
🤞

Clear the codes, then reset the transmission computer per this procedure... https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ton-start.html
This makes the adaptive transmission relearn how to shift from a factory setting. If that doesn't work, then consider the more invasive ideas above.
