2011 E550 OEM left intake tube

Does anyone know where I can find part #2730902582 it’s for a left OEM air intake tube? I know there are many aftermarket ones available on eBay and Amazon but they don’t quite fit well it’s a bit too short. Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated. My left one ripped so I need to replace it or fix it. Any suggestions guys?

Have you tried FCP Euro? I and others here highly recommend them. Their lifetime warranty on pretty much all of their parts is incredible. I just received an email from Pelican Parts and apparently they are adapting FCP Euro's business model of lifetime warranty as well.

I haven’t but I will check them out. From what I heard they’re pretty pricey.

Just measure your tubes and make sure it'll fit / as in the thread I referenced people seem to say it works well. You may need some type of all purpose adhesive to secure both ends (Loctite adhesive, high temp silicone etc)

Perfect! What about just buying an aftermarket ones off of Amazon or eBay? Would you recommend a little less seem to work for some people from what I heard they’re just a little shorter than the OEM

Something like this may help the length issue

contact the seller before purchasing to confirm it'll fit or check measurements

Well I purchased this one from Amazon and it was a little too short. How could I tell if the one you’re mentioning is longer? Btw here is the link to the one I purchased. Thanks for your help by the way.

Look for 2nd hand ones of a W164 ML..They are all plastic and don't have the fabric component that typically tears. V6 and V8 lengths may vary. My ML has 170km.on it and they will last the lifetime of the car. A real lifetime, not a Mercedes "lifetime".

You should google images of the w164 ML550 (2006 to 2011) airbox or engine bay. The air box will probably be the same as yours as should be the distance to the front radiator support. The intake may be different, but you might be able to match them up with your original ones. Some image searching will allow you to see any differences.

Also look at what Rock Auto has available https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...ke+hose,6344le
