2016 E400 4Matic Open Circuit Codes

I’m currently getting codes B18B1-13, C10C8-00, B163A-01, B23A8-13 on my 2016 E400 4Matic. I’m not really sure how to begin my investigation into this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

B18B1-13, C10C8-00, B163A-01, B23A8-13 on 2016 E400 4Matic.

pls spell out your fault code description so it starts making sense

I see now ... some codes are partially described in pics ✌️

the most significant fault being :

safety related front radar: soaked harness /solderless module

Solderless MFKamera calls attention:

MFK... bad windshield traces /oxidized solderless pins

You can clear codes and hope some don't return, most likely will.

You scanner is missing proper support on your chassis . I hope it was super cheap. A $150 scanner would get better coverage support.

Windshield Replacement

Thanks. I just recently had my windshield replaced by Safelite with supposedly an OEM replacement, but I’m thinking that may be the culprit for some of these codes. Thoughts?

that's a possibility!
When windshield was replaced MFK sensed missing circuit... sure.

Now simply clear faults
see what comes back.

If MFK/Radar come back then these will be confirmed.

Update: I was able to get the MFK cleared. Safelite ended up replacing the windshield with Genuine Mercedes. I got the left front door code cleared by pressing all the buttons on my left door panel a few times. I had previously replaced a couple plastic buttons that were peeling and
must have left something stuck. Now the two codes I’m dealing with are the front left turn signal code (B2858) and the A70/1… (B163A) code. I think they’re related. From all my research, I’m thinking it could either be a fuse/relay in the Front SAM module or the module itself or maybe the headlight control module. I have a Foxwell 710 scanner with Mercedes programming but I’m just learning how to use all this stuff. Any advice?

headlight acting up

Are these 2x faults on your headlight truly physical or logical? Few scanners have good coverage for these modules.

If issue checks out, then use your scanner to activate outputs within the SCM and SAM menus.

Solderless Headlight module may be faulty or lamp/LED may be faulty.

In case you haven't already, trickle charge your auxiliary battery in the trunk overnight and next day clear codes to see if they pop up again right away. I've had some funky self-test failure codes when auxiliary battery was in need of replacement or if I had not driven the car in a while and battery discharged just enough to cause some voltage droops across sensors.

Collision Prevention Assist is not quite a Fault Code related with radar or harness as it seems perfectly OK. Just tell that triggered an event.

Left Headlight code fault is about turn signal lamp, ...what about turn signal, it's working in full?

The B163A is a Lin bus network problem. All components listed are connected on the same Lin Bus network, so if one of them are faulty or wrong installed ( Ex: Rain/Light sensor).

The Actual Values that you tried to understand, has always several conditions to be met, first.

I would start with the new scanner from Fault Codes.
