Hello
can anyone inform me of the correct springs to use in our E 350 ? stripe colors ?. any videos available on how to replace them? its a standard 350

Depends on your suspension, do you have 485 luxury or 677 sport? my '13 sport had green and red stripes, but its loaded as in luxury 3 package. you can order from FCP Euro by specifying which suspension you have, I got mine for 67 dollars a piece from them, I jacked up the car by the rear differential, compressed the springs and they came right out, compressed the new ones and popped them back in, check upper and lower mounting plates, top is plastic, bottom is metal, I replaced these as well. Make sure you have springs properly seated in both top and bottom mounts.

If the W212 is like the W211, you probably need to look at your current springs and check the color stripes, then you also need to check the thickness of your spring pads, which is indicated by a number of "nubs".

The different spring colors designate how heavy the car is with options, there are I believe 14 different spring options based on engine size and other features on the car, there are three levels of luxury package, most cars are luxury one, some are luxury two, luxury three is extremely rare, in 2013 it came with heated steering wheel and headlight washers, a few small things also like cargo netting and all weather floor mats, etc.

When I got springs for my W211, the dealer couldn't tell me what springs and pads to order based on my VIN. It wasn't determined only by the type of suspension setup I had, but also by the other options which add weight and change the weight distribution. I had to check the spring band colors and spring pad nubs first and then they gave me the part numbers for these.
Is this not the case on the W212?
