2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 2WD Crew Cab 167" Work Truck
VIN: 1GCHC23688F164255------------------------
Is this the part #70 you asking ?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/125653237097
Give me ur Mercedes VIN, so that the correct item 70 can be pointed out.

Mine. RHD version.

I broke a bolt for the trans pan yesterday, and rather than me screwing it up trying to extract it, I took it to the trans shop that I use, so the car isn't immediately available to look at and compare the parts. The trans shop has way more tools and experience with broken bolts stuck in the aluminum castings than I do.

So we use Code 804---> after code 804, which is year 2013 and up, basically the facelift.

The part number is available here: https://mbparts.mbusa.com/oem-parts/...ver-2123280286, but the website says this PN does not fit my car. Indeed, a 2016 E350 is not listed. I sent them my vin # to verify fitment. Also, they say that the part description is COMPRESSOR and the parts group does show to be some compressor.
I guess I'll wait and see if they verify fitment.

W212 airmatic version has compressor on LEFT side near exhaust

Maybe previous owner has once replaced it with airmatic version cover, it surely fit too.
The airmatic type cover is much bigger( a bit lower to ground ) than non airmatic it seems, no wonder you whacked it on the road.

As far as I know, official USA MB dealer would not want to sell/send you parts their EPC deemed as incorrect to your VIN. I guess they do not want hassle of return.
Here is the same P/N as yours, use it to compare to your broken one. Plenty of photos from all angle.

I also need the front left wheel arch cover that was also damaged. And that was ordered as well.
Both of these parts were damaged by me turning left too sharply out of my driveway and almost going into the drainage ditch at the street on a dark night. Can't blame the wife for that!
One more thing. There are 3 of these large black screws. I do not remember where they belong. If you recall, please let me know.

A photo of them on you hand would be nice for size perspective.

That one is very likely from below, that is always easily loose. Its the noisy screw...LOL.
While you are down there, inspect the same "wood" screw of the exhaust tip decoration piece, 2 screws each.
Whenever you see these type of self tapping screw, guaranteed in our car its female counterpart would be plastic parts of the car or those cheap metal female clip like below
There is another location using that screw. But it is a bit smaller size. The sound/heat shield hairy black one, the longest one under the car.
============
The noise maker bumper to heat shield.... that is why that screw there is easily lost.
